Fall Bucket List

Tomorrow is officially the first day of fall and I couldn’t be more excited!!! In Texas we don’t get snow or beautiful trees with changing leaves, however a break from the heat is enough to celebrate the change in seasons!

With fall comes pumpkins, sweater, scarves, hot cocoa, cozy blankets and so much more! And then all the holidays! I am literally bursting with joy, it’s truly my favorite part of the year!

However, I realized there’s a lot of things I haven’t done, ever or in a while, so I created a list of things to do! Here’s my Fall Bucket List:

  1. Carve a Pumpkin

I have always wanted to do this but just never get around to it! Bae doesn’t think I’ll like it because it involves getting your hands dirty, which I hate! But as long as I have plenty of napkins close by, I should be okay! Now the hard part is going to be picking out what I want to carve – so many great ideas out there!

  1. Pictures at a Pumpkin Patch

I know this is very cliché, but c’mon, the pictures are adorable! Besides, pumpkin patches pop-up just for this reason right? And I can probably get my pumpkin to carve there as well, it’s a win-win!

  1. Corn Maze

Corn mazes make me think of scary movies, which I do NOT like to watch! I’m a big chicken! Hehe. But I think if I go during the day, and with bae (who is extremely smart), I’ll get out of there alive! Buy maybe I’ll take some flares and share my location with a few people just in case…

  1. Make a Fall Treat

Pumpkin pie, apple pie, pumpkin bread, apple cider – the list goes on and on with all the sweet treats you can make only during this season! Pinterest your favorites and try out the recipes! And let you’re coworkers and loved ones know that they’ll have to hold off on that diet till after the holidays, because you’ll be bringing by some tasty treats (sorry babe!)!

  1. Spend More Time Outdoors

Tailgate at a football game, go to a state fair or fall festival, go on a hike, have a bonfire or picnic, make a pile of leaves and jump in it – the point is to go outside! Fall is perfect because the sun is still warm enough, but the cool breeze makes it so comfortable outside! Once winter comes around, you aren’t going to want to be outside! Enjoy this time and breath in that fresh air!

I know this list is kind of short, but this is just to get you started on those fall activities. Here is a printable by the Day Designer so you can jot these ideas down and add more of your own!

What are your favorite fall activities?

Outfit Details: Dress | Shoes | Earrings | Necklace

I found this dress to be the perfect fall transitioning piece for a few reasons. First of all, it’s a dress! When the colder temps come around, it’s gonna be hard to wear a dress without catching pneumonia! But the colors, we start moving toward the darker colors, but don’t lose them completely! Also, it’s still flowly enough for you to move around with all these fun outdoor activities you will be doing! Can you tell that I enjoyed wearing this dress? 😆

Bae gave me the green light to decorate for fall and I can’t wait to see what I find this weekend! I’ll also be looking up places to help me cross off these things off my Fall Bucket List.

I sure do hope Fall finds you tomorrow wearing a cozy knit sweater and a hot cocoa or PSL! 🍁

XO, Mayra
