Brunch: Southerleigh at The Pearl

Full disclaimer, I don’t really like breakfast. I don’t know, just something about it. I would usually order something off the lunch menu when going out to eat in the mornings. But then I found out about brunch and my whole life changed. Cheesy I know, but it’s true love.
And then there’s the Pearl in San Antonio. Since the first time I went to the Pearl I fell in love with it. And with my boyfriend living so close to it, it became a place we went often. And good thing, because it’s where I have found some of my favorite brunch spots!

Arlington, TX

What a weekend! I sure am glad to be back in SA after a weekend trip to Arlington, TX. I got to  attend my first MLB game and got to check out Six Flags Over Texas while I was there! They are literally 0.6 miles away from each other. Check out my review below

Let's Fiesta San Antonio!

Ah Fiesta, the time of year every San Antonian waits for. Chicken on a stick, flower crowns, and parties on every corner! It 10 days of, well, Fiestas!
Today is one of the main events of Fiesta, the Battle of Flowers Parade. It’s a big deal yall! Businesses close down, there’s no school, its like a self proclaimed 3 day weekend in San Antonio only.

Making a Comeback

I haven’t been on my blog in so long, the first thing I did when I got back on was judge it. Just ripped it to pieces. I literally almost didn’t write this post because I thought I had to redo EVERYTHING because anyone who saw this was gonna judge this or that about it. And then I had to stop and remember that was exactly why I was back on and writing this.

Gardner State Park

Last September my boyfriend did the impossible, he took me camping.
Although I’ve always lived in small (country-ish) towns, my heart has always ached for big cities. So, when my boyfriend said he was planning a camping trip for the end of summer, I was a no-go! Don’t get me wrong, I love nature and the outdoors, but the thought of spending the night outside with bugs and heat, yeah no.
But somehow he convinced me and I lived to tell the tale.
